Class 5 signed by Dr. J. Marshall

Postby voodoo67 » 04 Feb 2011, 15:58

I called my GC connection last week and inquired if there were any Class 5's in stock. I learned they had just gotten in a green Class 5 signed by Mr. Marshall. I promptly plunked down the $. Bammo - it arrived Tuesday.

What an amp! Beyond the look (green with old school Marshall plaque on the front - incredible) this amp sounds amazing!

It hung with the band perfectly. I am a new Marshall devotee. I am seriously considering a creme edition!

Back - sorry for the fuzz - shot in haste from a camera phone. I'm having my tech mod the 2061cx cab to accept 8 and 16 ohms... I can't wait to try the C5 through the 2x12!

I just dropped off my cab for an impedance selector switch. Can't wait to give the 5 a whirl through a 2x12.

But, I gotta say, the stock 10 does have its own magic.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
