Under the Bridge tone amp settings

Postby mistergiba » 15 Feb 2013, 04:40

I want to share with you these my settings to get a similar Frusciante's sound used for the song under the bridge. This is one of my favorite RHCP'S song because john uses the style of the great jimi hendrix.
I use clean channel with my stratocaster in neck position .The settings from 0 to 10 are:

Presence 3
Resonance 8
Reverb 4
Volume 2
Treble 3
Middle 8
Bass 6

Between the guitar and amp also use a Boss CS-3 compressor .
Good music greetings :beerme :beerme :beerme

A few days ago listening to shine on your crazy diamonds performed by David Gilmour ,in the 2007 disc Remember That Night Live At The Royal Albert Hall ,i noticed that the basic clean sound is similar to what is obtained with these settings.I love the wonderful clean channel of this head.

Good to see some guys getting along with the MA. I think it was a very misunderstood amp that Marshall terribly failed at promoting in any way.

Amp is very good. Great one. People who wrote that it´s shit:
- they did not play on it
- or they played and they realized that MA is actually more better that their shit :tounge

Thank you. i´m not fan of RHCP, but it´s nice that you have their tone...

Do you have some other presets? Maybe other bands?
