It has black piping to differentiate it as an OEM range as decided by Marshall.

Again I would urge everyone to wait until you see them up close and personal before giving a critique.

SteveD - since it is your design is it possible to mod the reverb to just the clean channel please ?
If so is this something an amateur could do ?

Fair enough.
Possibly a development that could be considered at Marshall Towers though.

i only noticed the see thru bit on the head now!! i think its kinda cool!! since these are fairly cheap all-valve amps, i wonder will they be popular to mod?

Proof is always in the upfront eating of the pudding, but this is the best out of the box Marshall in a while. Definitely appears to jump way out in front of the DSL. Wonder how much of the 'hit it hard' on glass sound can be found in the clean channel. Looks and sounds like a home run to me. Can't wait to try one, even though I'm done buying amps :no

Hey guys, I got to see the MA50H in person yesterday at the Marshall theatre, And it does look great. I did notice that it's a bit taller than other heads by Marshall, but it looks pretty cool. Here it is sat on top of a VM.
