Recommended trying MA

Postby HappyBlues » 15 Jun 2010, 00:58

So I recomennded our new guitarist to try out MA without really having chance to hear it in person. It was made be Steve and it's a Marshall so I think it is worth trying at least. He's a student and a bit on budget so prolly he won't like to invest into JMD nor VM, but this might be a great value for him. Will report you how he likes it. He's quite a good guitarist so we'll see.

Is the MA designed by Steve?! Thought it sounded a bit like the VM. Very fat sounding.

yes, the following amps are projects Steve was involved in.

Vintage Modern
JTM45/100
Super 100JH
Class 5
JMD1 :clap
MA

Don't know personally of others branded as Marshall but there may be, those are the ones I am aware of. Also don't know what is sitting on his bench at the moment either. I applude Marshall for having a great range of amps to choose from and not being afraid to offer a range that targets a certain market for today's player.
My Gear
Surf's Jukebox

Wasn´t there an issue with the Class 5 amps?
Who designed the Haze amps?
