MA Soundclips

Postby kingbee » 06 Sep 2010, 17:40

Steve! My band Hytyde - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hytyde/186839242434 - just opened up for Blackfoot this past weekend. Mike Estes (formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd among many other things) and Charlie Hargrett loved the sound! Love this amp. Oh yeah, in this pic you can see on my MA and MA412B Cabinet that I changed the black piping to white. Just looks more "Marshall" to me that way! If anybody would like a soundclip of the MA in action, click the link under the pic. Goes to a video of Hytyde while opening for Blackfoot!

Sounds good to me. Glad to see the MA getting some love. At its price point it seems to be a bargin. BTW I think your singer is pretty good.

Outstanding clip of that amp in action! Great song too!

Was it hard swapping out that piping...been debating on doing that myself. Any tips or lessons learned while you did it? Or is it just simply push it into place type stuff?

Wasn't too hard to do. Just take things apart a little. The piping is just stapled in. Pull out the old staples, remove the black piping and staple the white piping in.
