Head cabinet for Bluesbreaker reissue

Postby LouieTM » 27 Jul 2015, 06:55

Hey guys,

Does anyone know whether the Bluesbreaker reissue chassis (mine is a 2013 model) fits inside a 1959 head cabinet without any modifications?
If not, can you recommend a suitable cab?

I'd like to have the option of using the amp as a head on top of a number of different cabs, since most venues here have their own backlines available for use, instead of lugging around the massive Bluesbreaker combo everywhere I go.

Thanks!

No, won't fit. Marshall is doing the Handwired JTM45/1962 combo chassis in a head version. I would think they would sell a cabinet, but I know I had asked about a combo cab for my Astoria Custom and was told the cab would be about $500. empty..

This may work, check your dimensions. This company can build you whatever you want in any color and size.

Their prices seem really reasonable. About 25-30% less than Mojotone. I've been wanting to get a combo box for my Astoria Custom..

They did a great job on my Astoria head box. Was about $220 shipped.
