How bad would you describe this hum? If I have no cable plugged in and both volumes on 10 it's a pretty solid buzz, more than I would expect. Maybe I'll pull the chassis and adjust some wire positions.

revelation, sorry for late reply.

lifted the green wires on v1 and v2 away from the other wires and chassis and hey presto a lot less hum, happy days. :jam

this amp is definetly a keeper.

actually it still hums arrrrrgh, goin in to the tech as soon as i have the dough.
