aluminum chassis (SteveD) ??

guys,
some1 comapred this reissue to an original one?? I know the lots of talk goin' on regarding steel vs aluminum chassis (alu is better for conductivity etc etc).. is this true ??

I dont think the chassis has much to do with anything except to shield and protect the electronics and provide a ground connection point to power sections, etc. The only real difference is that the metal chassis heads are heavy as f*** to carry, while the aluminum chassis heads are very light.
