Wondering what fx most people use? I've been playing over 40 years and use several different Marshall amps. Just began using different fx.

I've been using either a JCM 800 or my plexi. Been using a Boss GT 10 now trying different pedals.

How about an MXR Phase 90 into a Crybaby 95Q into amp?
This is a killer setup IMO. Works on just about anything.

Excepting the delay, do you still need it with a JVM410HJS or 6100?
6101 // DSL-1H // JVM-1H // DSL1C // AVT50 // JTM30 // MS-2 // Vox // Orange // Fender // Avid // Peavy // :Thumbs

With the 6100 or 410 Satriani I only use a Delay, Reverb and Chorus.
The unit on the Pic I only use for Plexis. The OLD Govenor is one of the best Overdrives you can get.

I often use my 1959 SLP. I use a Cry Baby Wah Wah, Majik Box Rocket Fuel, Boss Tuner (TU2) and a tc Flashback Delay. Sometimes i use a MXR Phase 90 and i´m getting a tc Corona Chorus.

Welcome gibson560 & congrats on playing for 40 years! I'd say to start with a simple tube screamer and perhaps a delay or reverb and take it from there. Been enjoying my tones with a similar setup after playing with loads of various drives but for me this classic drive works very well with a Plexi.
