When i had the digitech jimi hendrix experience pedal it stated that jimi used
this reverb. Is this true??? How did he used it then since his amps did not
have a FX-loop?????
I am just really curious about this.......
Since these devices are really big and expensive i wondered which digital
device would come close, i know there are software pluggins but i want
to use it in the FX-loop.
Thanks,
Bluesbrother.

Wasn't the Experience pedal based on his studio effects as well as his live effects.

Well, i do not have the pedal anymore because the VM with pedals sounded
better to me ...
but the reverb on it was really nice .It was modelled
after a EMT plate reverb that JIMI was supposed to use. I really can not
remember if they said anything about studio or live use....
The reverb on the VM is actually pretty good but on low range i wish it was
alot stronger( like the reverb level goes to 5 instead of 10). Luckily the
VM has a FX-loop so a external pedal can be used.It is strange that there are
so much pedals around for JIMI sound but non for a convincing plate reverb?

Oops, a little pricey but like how they kept the device small using real gold.

I think the reverb they refer to is obviously a studio plate!

Surely that was a studio plate reverb, which is like the ultimate reverb for many (aside from an echo chamber).
Maybe I don't get out enough but I never heard of anybody using a true plate reverb on stage. For that matter I don't think Jimi ever used reverb on stage.
