I am seeking recommendations for a travel case for my 1982A JH cabinet. I want it to have wheels but I don't want to drill into it to install casters. And of course it needs protection when it goes out . . . . and some of the 4 x 12 cases I have seen advertised cost more than a Class 5. I am a hobbyist and won't be going on tour. Any thoughts?

I got a Gator road case for my Granger M50 head and it is built like a tank. I aint cheap though. I did turn moving the head around into a 2 person job. I can't imagine how bulky a 4x12 case must be.

the ata cases are crazy expensive!!!! but if you want the best you have to go anvil or its sister company calzone. When I bough an ATA case for flying out to LA for RnR fantasy camp, I called them up and calzone was suggested over anvil (i think it is a little cheaper). Anyway my Les Paul ATA from calzone was a few hundred bucks, quite possible over 400. In the end, was it worth it? Hell yeah it was (although an absolute pain to carry around...and that was before i started lifting). But now it just collects dust.

Thank you both for responding. I'll investigate these options.
