Its billed as a replica of the same JCM 2000 presented to Jim Marshall on his 85th birthday. There is no difference I know of in the curcuit. That amp comes with some swag and looks a bit different but that about it.

I believe the 85th was made RoHS compliant with a few circuit elements being changed, but that was in the switching, not the signal path.
Still my guitar gently weeps

I had a 1923 ... and it's pretty much the same amp.
A little different look and the collectibility would be the only reason to get one ahead of a JCM2000.
A great amp .. I only sold it to finance other stuff.

Go get it !
The DSL series is one of the most popular ones and the 1923 should be easy to sell later on - probably with a little profit - if need be.

I got the 1923c combo because of a price too good to pass up.I'm really glad I did! It has the DSL sound but a little more open and airy with the open back and combination of Vintage 30 and Heritage speakers. I love the sound so much I went and bought a JVM 2x12 open back cabinet with the same speaker config and my "half stack" is usually my go to amp now.
