JCM 600
Was dicking around on eBay n saw for sale a JCM600 2x12 combo for a starting bid of 350 n with 10min left in auction nobody was bidding. Cosmetically it looked in "used" condition . The front screen was a little worn but I didn't buy it because I didn't know it even existed. Never heard of it. Does anyone know anything about these amps?

I only know some general things, that they were lower cost tube amps of the time period. What I will say is there's a guy around my town who's been trying to sell one for more than a year. $350 ain't bad for it, but what I will say don't expect having an easy time offloading it if you want to.

Dude, you already have the best Marshalls. The 600 would disappoint you. You should just wait to see what else Marshall has coming.

For what it's worth I have the JCM600 Head which I bought in England way back when they first came out. I love it. Gigged with it before many times back in the old country, never let me down (why would it, its a Marshall). have a nice clean channel that dirties up with a LP, individual reverbs for both channels, parallel and series effects loops. It's a great amp. Overlooked IMO and I know many dismiss.
Run it through a 8412 btw, which is the original mk1 Valvestate cabinet. That cab again, dimissed by many, sounds great, speakers have worn in nicely. Sounds great with my C5 head running through it too!
With my '89 studio it really has the most sweetest singing tone.
