Where is this amp ??? Wish list

Postby lowenzz » 16 Oct 2012, 16:06

I think this is the right place.....

My Marshall wish list

Mini head, single channel Hot-rodded JCM800 voice (DSL50 green crunch was very close)
This could be obtained with voicing switches if needed
15-20watt, 6V6's are cool, preferably NOT EL84's,
serial loop, defeatable

The new DSL15 while close, does not have the green crunch voicing. No longer an option.

I am seriously considering something like A Granger, maybe a modeling solution would be more practical.

I think this year has been hard for Marshall. With the passing of Jim and all the hoopla for the 50th some things have got pushed back, I think in the next six months we should see a few new offerings. Unless you are in dire need of something I would take a wait and see approach.

Granger is a great option if you want something custom built to your specs.

Naw Surf, no dire need. I'm just a hobbiest anymore.

Ideally I just really want my little hot-rodded marshall to be made by Marshall.
Some of the various 18watters look interesting, but I think they are mostly more in the classic toned voices.

Just sitting here sulking in the corner :giveup :bang
