Not the best quality video, so who knows?

The guys at solodallas.net have analyzed every frame I'm sure. Great info from them. Fil is fanatical about all details. They believe the cabs are loaded with G12-65's...but again, who knows?

The last question I have is about that faceplate on Mals 2000...it only has half with knobs on it, like they just used the right channel and put a plate over the left channel on the faceplate.

Couldn´t it have been 25 Watts Celestions? Also didn´t the 70 watts come in 1983?
Maybe it was to many knobs for Malcolm to handle

End of the seventies they had no good PA's at all. Therefore, the rock bands, even in the stages and at large events, had to sonicate the people with their amps from the stage . But it was too little space for so many Fulllstacks. Jim Marshall said: We will build a High Power Amp, the Marshall 2000 (250Watt) which could replace at least 3 full stacks with his mighty power.

Believe me, this Amp is loud as Hell. And yes, it replaces Three Fullstacks ..............on Volume 2!!!!!!!!!!
I once tried it on Volume 8. With Headphones to protect my Ears. Very useful as a Wrecking Ball. NOT FOR HOME USE
There was also a Marshall 2001 Bass. EIGHT!!!!!!! 6550 Power Valves. 300Watt.

Lol.....here is a closeup of his amp in the video....maybe they removed half the knobs just for Mal? Maybe the bass version.....?
