Great (old) video of 2203

Postby ClassicRock88 » 22 Aug 2013, 09:23

I'm sure that many on here have seen this vid but I always think it is worth a watch. Guy demos his "Vun hundred vahtt" JCM 800. The hair, the black tank top, the accent, the guitar, the tone. Nails. It.

"Let's turn dis ving on..."

This vid is pretty funny to watch.
Happiness is playing a Gibson guitar through a Marshall amplifier.

I think that dude hung around one of the forums concerning Marshall. Not sure if he still does.
Many Marshall's, and I want more.

Think i´ve seen it before. But it sure sounds great. A big reason for this is that he plays with the master on 7. It´s about there the power stage starts to distort on these amps. If he had played with the maqster on 2 i don´t think it had sounded this good. Also it´s an early JCM 800 with vertical inputs. When they changed to the horizontal inputs they also changed the filtering. At least on the 100 Watters. These amps need to be played loud.

Does anybody else catch that the amp moves the camera throughout the vid? If you look at the pilot light on the left side of the amp you can clearly see it at the beginning and almost cannot see it at the end!
