hey guys,,what year in the early 90s did marshall release the jcm900 in white tolex with matching cab..bought one for the collection and having trouble with year..thanx for the help

I have never heard of a JCM900 in white. I know these new ones are from the custom shop but I never seen one from the 90s. Now I have seen a white JCM800 but no 900. Seems to me though that Europe got some amps we never seen in the USA.

Also consider that someone may have put the chassis into a new white cabinet themselves. You can buy the box cabinets in any tolex color over here.

They were sold in 2012,,,,,exclusive to GC in the USA. Not sure if any other distributors picked these up. I know the Australian distributor didn't....

If your's has a black face it's a re-tolex....

What is the serial number? that will tell you the year....
