Popping Noise when I power down to standby

Hi Guys

just wanted to run this by someone who's more knowledgeable than myself..

Basically after I've used the amp and I want to switch off , when I go to standby the amp makes a loudish popping noise that really annoys me. If I'm careful and slowly use the switch I can avoid this. Is this something I should be concerned about ? The amp was recently serviced at Bletchley and they were happy with it.

thanx for the advice

It is nothing to worry about, although I agree it's annoying. Turning your master down prior to turning to standby.

Are you going standby off first then power or the other way around?

I've had it on some Marshalls also. Think it's just the way the amp is made. I don't think it's something to worry about. But it can be real annoying i know.

Hi. I have a tsl100. Two years ago i have the same problem. I think could be the zener diode from rear jack pcb. Check this Zd3 zd4 zd5 zd6. Are very weak. You can put two in paralel connection. Will be strong.
