Tsl100 no sound once off standby

Postby webcat » 19 Aug 2014, 14:37

I have a tsl100 that currently gets used at rehearsal once a week. It works fine at first, but if I put it on standby while we take a break, when I take it off standby it has no sound. I've once managed to get it back. And also got some crackles, but last week had to unplug it and use a different amp.

Any thoughts on what this could be?

There could be many causes to this problem.
As always, start testing another tubes, see if they're well attached, in particular the pre-amp tubes.

Hello,

Check in the back of your amp to see if the tubes are glowing.
If not, then it is probably the tube filaments fuse that is blow up.
The fuse is located inside the amp directly on the circuit board.
And also, I believe that on a TSL 100 there is more then one Tube filament fuse.

I have the same issue with my TSL 60.
