Should I keep or sell my JCM900 4500 Head

I have the JCM900 Head ... I owe my brother £300 and I just bought an amp costing well over £1000 ... now ... do I sell the 900, to make the cash back and pay him ... or do I drag it out and keep the 900 ...

I'll admit I do miss my JCM2000 TSL ... even tho it wasn't the greatest amp in the world, I hate that I don't still own it ....

And my Fender Telecaster ... custom .... aaaahhh that was lovely ...

still prefer my Gibson, but ... even so ... :(

i have that very amp, the 4500 model jcm 900 head, and the only thing i use it for anymore is the reverb and it's ability to be 'tamed' in a live situation (vs. my plexis). if the digital reverb on the VM is good enough i'd say send it on it's way, you may miss it but you won't have lost anything majorly irreplaceable tone-wise.

haha ! The VM wont go up for sale ... I've stated before that it's the sound I've been looking for since I started playing guitar ... I honestly don't forsee that being sold ... that said, who knows in a few years.

I'd like to be in a position where I can keep stuff. ... but it never seems to happen! :P

I would keep it.I got rid of my 900 because I had a new DSL and was not playing the 900 anymore.I wish I had it back.That and my Hamer special are two things I wish I would never got rid of.

Im keeping my 900, at what it does, its very good. I am getting rid of my DSL 401
though
My new Vintage Modern is coming this week, i bought it from one of your
fellow members, and cant wait for it. I really love thier sound!
