That Carvin plays like butter and is one badass MF'r isn't it? That was a nice build and very high quality. What attracted me to that LP when I bought was its weight, and its rosewood fretboard which is rare. The 57s sound well enough with the booster. Don't forget the 9v in that one.

You got two great guitars for the price of a new LP. I am happy someone I know will get some use out of them.

Yeah, the Carvin is definitely spot on. After buying the Kiesel 7 string i didn't have any apprehensions about Carvins construction/quality, these guys have their shit together. This is a very nice playing, looking guitar. The Floyd is very smooth and has quite a light spring tension compared to the 7 string, stays in perfect tune no matter how hard you play it. The Carvin pups are pretty good sounding, i don't see any urgent need to change them. The neck profile fits my hand really well and the finger board is ultra smooth and the SS frets are the shit.

All in all in good score, this one's a keeper. My friend came over and when he walked into the jam room he looked at that and said" Man, that is the most beautiful fuckin guitar i have ever seen in my life".

That is a sweet guitar. The specs on both of those guitars he was selling are exactly what I would want if I had the money. How is it breaking in for you?

The LP actually needed a little break in period. As Surf said it was never played and he wasn't joking. Still experimenting with different string types, finding what brand and type of metal compliments the guitar the best. The Carvin is perfect right out of the case. That is one smooth playing instrument and it sounds killer to boot. I have never tried the type of Carvin pups that this one has in it before but they are nice. It has a very nice balance and feel to it.

I like them both.
