If being a dentist is what it'd take to get one then I wish I was a dentist.

The luxury guitar market is a massive wank of the highest order.
I have friends in the business. They say they sell a $5,000-15,000 guitar to the same small circle of judges, lawyers, dentists and CEOs at least once per week.
Fucken bloodsucking parasites can't even play.
These are the same anal rimmers who read Guitar Aficionado magazine and pay $2,000 for a Bonamassa meet and greet.
Bunch of soft cocks, they have to buy adulation.
Pure wank.
Dime that puppy!!!

Nice suggestion but I have always disliked the head stock on those and the Dimebag Darrell reference.

I've always liked a Hamer V. Just saw these but I don't know if I'd prefer an old one though. I need to read up on these. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... wAodlLoFCQ

One reason why I'm kinda looking around is I turn 50 in December. My wife has looked at more guitars this year than ever. I hate to assume what she has in mind if anything but if it's a guitar I want to "lead" her in the right direction yet not over play my hand.

Spot on Surf.

This overpriced shite is for rock star dentists and wankerous Bonamassa/SRV fanboys who can't even play. Heck, I'll wager most of these instruments end up in glass display cabinets above the oak presidential desks in the wood-paneled dens of these fucking dentists and lawyers.
Man, I can't fucking stand Bonamassa and SRV because of their idiot fans.
Agreed. I have plenty of players I like, but I don't "worship" anyone. Whether it be sports, music, ect, "superfans" are the worst. I try to avoid conversations with these types at all costs, as it usually degenerates into "my guitar-deity is the greatest and never played a bad note ever."

As for Gibson, I'll never likely buy anything new from them again. They just aren't worth the premium price they charge. In 1999, I bought a Les Paul "Classic 1960" for $1400. It was a really good guitar (I deeply regret letting it go). In today's money, it would be $2030. Looking at Gibson's website, it seems that you have to go north of $3000 to get the same guitar. Whatever... :Jerkoff

I wouldn't worry about that. I don't think there are many meth-heads that bother with dental hygiene.
