Who cares what it sounds like...
Don't be fooled, it sounds better than it looks. There is such a classic Strat tone in this I truly believe it is perfect. The way it plays and the 69s are just great. I have been recording with it all day today and will post something later this week with it. I made sure I just used the guitar and the VM in low range. The only effect I ran was the Univibe.

My two favorite positions are the bridge middle combo and the neck by itself, the others sound great too but I am staying in those two ranges with the clean stuff. I have yet to try it out with hard rock tones.

On your initial clip, I thought the neck and middle sounded best but then again I'm partial to the neck and neck-middle combo myself and rarely use anything else. Can't wait to hear the new clips!
