Honestly Sigi for less than 1 grand USD i would have a real hard time saying no to that.

There will come a time when these amps once again go way up in value. There are many stupid things you can do with 1000 euro, investing in a 69 Marshall Superlead isn't one of them.

Well it appears someone took care of it, the Ruby caps indicate it has been serviced at some point.

You are right. The seller took care of the Amp. The only thing to complain are the JJ Tubes. .......I hear Surf already bitching. But the Amp sounds amazing even with this Tubes.

Who exactly was giving away this amp?? I would expect that thing to cost no less than 5 grand.

You are right. The streetprice of this Amp and Cab is about 5000. I got it from a retired Teacher who wanted to know his Amp in good hands with the option to play it whenever he wants. There are still good people in this world!
