Plexi power indicator light

Postby Petri358 » 28 Mar 2012, 09:30

Can anybody help me?
I have -68 1987 plexi. I bought it 1986 and it was pretty nice condition.
My only worry is that there is red led light as a power indicator.
Can it be original or maybe fixed later days replacing original red cube?
Have they had any leds on productionline back then?

Sorry if my english is shit :dunno

Your English is fine. The cube might not be the original, they had both round lights and cubes back then but most were cubes. It is easy to replace it, you can find a new round or cube indicator light.

Thank's for your reply!
Yep, I know that it's easy to replace. I even got one original "Red cube" and bulp for it but I don't wanna replace it if that is original indicator.
I know this is worst case of gearmasturbation, but I cant help it. I want those amps to be as original as they can be. What a great sound they got at full power!

Done that and seen about 100 amps and never seen led on them.
Since there has been made thousands of these amps, can't tell if...
