the ability to roll back vol to clean up,personally I do this to an extent but the Billy Gibbons rig run down disagrees.

get rid of that inherent hum wherever it comes from.
for the battery,install a clip type holder.they can't be that expensive when done in bulk
and while yer @ it change the battery size to a standard COSM 2032.
since it will most likely be made in Vitnam,China,etc. keep the price point low.
