I leave the Presence down low, about 2 or 3 is more than enough for me, too much bites a bit too hard for my liking.

I generally leave my presence knob very low as well. I usually like to run fairly low treble compared to other guys who play Marshalls as well. I prefer a darker tone that is still articulate, and while it can be difficult to coax out of many Marshalls I have yet to find one that I couldn't get to sound a way that makes me happy.

I am finding that I tend to play using a cleaner amp tone recently. I like the "edge of breakup" tone and then I run various OD's and boosters to get me where I want to get for solos and whatnot.
