Anyone have any experience with these? I can get one cheap and swap in better speakers, probably a V30 & G12H30 mix. That will give me an option to use a 2x12 or a different tone when I don't want to lug around a 4x12.

Had one for a week. Smaller than the 1936, the head is a little wider than the cab. The baffle is at an angle which looks kinda weird. Stock speakers sound okay (not great, but not too bad).
Keep in mind, when running this cab in mono it's a 4 ohm cab.
My advise, unless it's dirt cheap, hold out for a 1936. However, with a slight modification to your head it will get the job done.
