boss eband JS(jam station)8

Postby bluesbrother » 03 Jan 2010, 02:02

At home i practise with my tube amps and play along with backing
tracks on my powerfull stereo( 110 watts trough 2 jamos of 580 watt
each. I am however looking for some time now for a simple to use
device i can use with -headphones-simple recording with backingtracks-
very portable so i can take it with me so a all in one solution seemed
almost imposible.
Well i think my prayers are heard and i just looked at the specs of
the new boss eband js8.This is all in one ,portable, can be used as
USB audio interface.Effects and amp sims are from the boss GT10.
For practise and simple recording for that use is all i am looking for.
3 major guitarstores i went too were complete sold out so i ordered
one on the net without trying.I will place a full review when i get it.
I place this topic here because it is a incrediable tool to make a better
player for aswell a beginner as a more seasoned player.
CHECK IT OUT !!

This thing is pretty versatile. it comes with a 1 GB SD card but it
can be replaced wit!h a 32 GB card which means 4000 MP3 songs.
Each backing track can be linked with a fixed preset of choice.
It has got a line out with which i can also amplify the totall sound
through my stereo. This device can also operate as a standalone
USB audio interface or as computer speakers for a PC.
This is exactly what i wanted . Its no eleven rack or axe fx but my
purpose is for silent headphones practice and recording .
It comes with special software to easily get cd in mp3 and visa versa.
Man this is going to be a hit.Take this with you on a holiday with a
guitar and you got everything you need to jam without a band.
Believe it or not but i can buy a axe fx or eleven rack but i just love
the simplicity and the features of the boss JS8 more.
For my purpose it is perfect.
