Mayer teaches crossraods

Postby kissfanps » 09 Oct 2011, 05:07

Here is a video I happened upon of john Mayer teaching crossroads. How such an amazing guitarist started out playing sappy female acoustic songs is beyond me. Ok ok ok, they are great to pop on when you want to set the mood. If ya know what I mean. :upass hehe. But seriously I would love to play like this guy. His finger picking is incredible. Also, there something about his solo tone when he goes high on the neck that I just love. I can't put it into words, but you can also here it when he fooled around with that 90210 theme. Joe Bonamassa and jeff beck get that that tone also. It's luck a lush vibrato/modulation......I dunno.

Why do I have such trouble with posting YouTube videos?

You copied the link wrong. When embedding a youtube link you need to paste the long link.

So do this.

1. Click on the "share" link under the video, a link will appear
2. To the right of that link click on "show options"
3. Check the box that says "long link"
4. Copy and paste that link into your post.
5. Then highlight the link in your post and click on the "youtube" button to put the link in brackets.
