FX Return for Power Amp only

Postby Road King Police » 17 Sep 2013, 09:08

If any of you haven't tried this, I highly suggest it just for reference. If you have a send from another amp, send it to the JMD's return. The JMD's chain of command allows onboard effects to be used as well as echo AND the presence control, aside from the master volume only. Rarely and I mean rarely in my experience has a sound ever been so warm, to the point that the presence has to be used to brighten a bit. That's nearly unheard of. I'm currently using the JMD for it's power and digging it.

Be careful, you can slave into the JMD from a 1W head if switched down to 0.1W or do you mean from the send of another amps FX loop?

I've even went as far as jumping from my MG loop out to my JMD loop in and can get some brutal metal tones .
I know it's only rock and roll , but I like it .

The JMD1 makes a great slave amp. As RKP pointed out you can still use the reverb, delay, and noise gate.
