Anyone tried KT77's ?

Anyone? How'd it go? I'v got a pair of JJ's hanging around, lot of hours logged on these 34's, thinking about using them.

Depends on the amp and what sound you're after. I like the KT77 quite a bit for it's low end extension. But you give up some of that upper mid of the EL 34

:Scotland I have NOS RFT (Siemens) EL34 and an RFT 12AX7 in the PI. Rebiased around 65% Sounds fantastic in the JMD1. Did That about a week after I got the amp.

What kind of numbers did that equate to on your voltmeter?
