Delay Tapping with MIDI-footcontroller in preset store mode?

Hi JMD-users,

I am confused about the above mentioned functionality. Another user also own the same MIDI-footcontroller as I, the Hughes & Kettner FSM432. This MIDI-footcontroller has an own switcher for delay tapping and works with my JMD:1 50 head in the preset store mode.

The other user tried it with his JMD and his Hughes & Kettner FSM432 and failed. Any ideas?

Also strange that the other user got the answer of a tech from the Marshall that this is not working.

Maybe it's the preset that is being used. Have him setup his amp the same as yours using the same preset. Sounds like maybe the way the delay is setup in the preset might be interfering with the midi.

Unfortunately I was wrong. There is no way for delay tapping with the MIDI-Footcontroller Hughes & Kettner FSM432. :-(

The tapped tempo is shown by the LED of the MIDI-Footcontroller, but I did not hear any changes in the delay tempo. Don´t know what I heard before.

A workaround would be to use the MIDI-Footcontroller for switching presets and the Marshall-Footcontroller in the switch store mode with tap tempo.
