stock tubes

Does anyone know what brand of tubes marshall puts in the JMD? I just opened the back off my JMD100 head and found that mine are Mesa power tubes, and a groove tube pre amp tube

The JMD1 came with Marshall labeled tubes, not sure the exact source before the re-labled but pretty sure they were Shuguangs EL34s. The Mesa labeled tubes are actually rebranded Ruby EL-34 STR, they are a good tube and no need to replace them unless they are causing problems.

Hi there. If I am on the right page I was wondering what everyone thinks the best power tubes and preamp (PI) tube they have have tried in their JMD1 ?

I put matched TAD EL34B STR PREMIUM valves in mine, when I had it and it roared like a lion ! :Thumbs
