JMD:1 pedal problem

Postby Wjacobf » 10 Dec 2016, 15:48

To all of you jmd:1 users out there, is anyone else having problems with switching channels? and is there any alternative pedal options? any different brands that make pedals that can be used with the Marshall JMD:1?

Sorry about your problem, perhaps we can help. Marshall did something pretty cool with that pedal and Jack. Essentially it is a MIDI controller with a TRS cable. Have you verified the cable is good?

If that is good, any MIDI controller with program change will work. You will have access to 128 channels then.

The cable is good. I'll look into it, thank you!

You may have it set In Switch Store mode instead of Preset Store mode.

Read the Footcontroller & MIDI control section of the owners manual (page 8)

You can also use any midi foot controller with the JMD to give you up to 128 presets.
