Blues.....
EL34 and alot of higain amp models.....
The layout , sound , and versatelity is very impressive , e few years
back i said marshall will come with a digital preamp and tubepoweramp.
Everybody declared that would be the end of marshall but now everybody
think otherwise.......

Steve what kind(s) of reverb is possibel on this amp??
Steve would you happen to know if this amp sound great on the 425A ???

No better demo than a young kid fooling around with it :bgrin

The JMD1 has a vast array of sounds in its arsenal ranging from Clean through Plexi to modern high gain. There are certainly some that lend themselves to blues. :Thumbs
Still my guitar gently weeps

Thanks Steve,
I downloaded the manual from the marshall site and i must say this amp
contains alot of great thinkwork. I saw i can hook up my solemate
van amps springreverb pedal into the FX-loop. The manual does not
say what type ( spring, room, hall, plate ) of reverb is used .
It would be great if this amp could be used with my 425A cab .
I think i got a major G.A.S. attack. :high

I should have the 100 watt version in about a week I web ordered it today, I will let you know. My hope is that the amp will be even better than my old rig which was a JMP1 and two Marshall 9100s. I have no doubt that the JMD is going to have better sounds than the JMP did, technoligy with modeling has come a LONG way. Also having the EL34 power section should be great.
