Hey you guys have to see this JMD1 video

Postby surfnorthwest » 21 Feb 2010, 07:58

Bluesbrother found this video of the Monkey Lord messin with is JMD1 at what seems to be bedroom levels. Even with a pretty cheap guitar and lower volumes you have to hear these tones. It is obvious that you do not have to get the tubes cooking in this amp to get great tone.

Damn, I'm really starting to GAS for one of these...but I need to save up for my dream Strat first, since the VM rocks for me right now.

The JMD is perfect for gigging and recording. I have already tried the silent mode recording with the XLR and it sounds great, just watch your preamp volume on the amp so it won't clip, no need to mic a cabinet with this.

How the hell do I know he has a line of guitars, heck I never heard of the guy until I started watching some of these Marshall youtube videos. Looked like a cheap guitar to me, :dunno and when he said chinese pickups well...

Why don't you tell us about these guitars, we don't see them over here.

They are cheap guitars.... I was being facetious and I would never buy one. I don't buy into the the whole "Chapman" thing at all. The amp does sound pretty good though I must say.
