Many major stars make the JMD sound great; I should hope so with the amount of hardware behind him.... lol One individual who I respect as a professional guitar player did not do the JMD any justice at all; in fact I could do loads better as a product demo than he did. Of course I am speaking about Zakk; oh he is a fantastic guitar player although his part of the roll out of this amp was nothing short of embarrassing (IMO) nothing but loads of noise and ear candy.

No Offense to ya Zakk if you read here...

Dang, I had no idea that amp sounded that good. I know Doug is a very good player but that was some thick tone coming from that amp. The first part of the clip was a good blues tone I liked.

Marshall 2466 - Marshall JMD1 - Marshall 1987
No one wants to hear 64 bars full of 32nd-notes except the douche-bag blowing them from the stage.

Any tone is possible with this amp as long as you have the help of Soft Tube and the Marshall Crew. Gotta remember this is still a great amp but many still do not like it because of that word "Digital" included in the description.

It's an amazing amp. It's equally impressive as a direct recording tool. I just sold my PODxt on ebay lol.

Pretty good tones from a pretty good player. Definitely one of the more better of our modern guitar hero's.
