Help! Looper question?

Postby Dave W » 11 Mar 2013, 19:47

I have some store credit at an online store and not shure how to use it to get something cool. I was looking at pedals, then stumbled across some loopers. They seem really cool. I was looking at the Digitech Jam Man ones.

I am mostly a plug in a play guy and tried lots of processors and could not stand them. So I keep it simple.

But, a looper looks like it cool be a great practice tool and make jamming fun with playing leads over rythms and overdbbing rythm parts etc.

Do any of you guys use loopers?

Anyone use the Digitech Jam Man ones?

I am guessing the best place to run in would be in the amps effects loop. Is this correct? Thanks!

I like my digitech jam man solo, it's not the newest one that came out but the version right before. It's an excellent practice and live tool. The jam man solo also has free computer software to edit patch bays ect. using your computer. Some people like the way the BOSS loopers sync the loop whereas the digitech may take some getting use to but I never compared the two.

You should check up Norwegian artist Jarle Bernhoft.
He is real looper king. I think he uses Boss RC300 looper station.
