i found the perfect (IMO) volume boost pedal

guys,...this topic comes all the time. some of us have been trying to find the a pedal that can give flexibility between lead and rhythm volume with one step on pedal. as we know amp cant be boosted so have to reduce volume for rhythm part.
but.....i tried to reduce the volume with eq pedal or clean boost (pedal is on to reduce volume), but i didnt the volume differences that i wanted. the result that i got was either full volume or no volume at all.

i came across this pedal on ebay and decided to try it on. it is a cheap pedal to set the volume.
when pedal is on, light is on - you get your full volume (crank your amp!).
when pedal is off, light is off, you get you volume you desire/set.
i used this in the fx loop.

The best part of this pedal, i was willing to spend around 100 to get the eq pedal that i thought would work. this pedal cost me 20 dollar.

i did get a massive volume difference that i after and i have full control of the volume
i cant comment on if pedal will alter tone, just got pedal 20 minutes ago and i was so happy. i am planning to add mxr 401 before the pedal just in case it sucks tone
