And a dream to get great recording tones, I've heard very impressive recordings from Kempers!

Well, well if it works for you great. Never thought you'd sell the AFD100. Me i mostly do gigs and seldom record nowdays. But i feel i need a real amp. No matter how good these stuff sounds i could never get the right vibe by playing it. I'm probably wrong but i still think if you really examine the sound you could hear it's not a real amp.

Hey Mats, I agree with you, and my ears tell me that tube amps sounds best. And more than that, at least for me, Mats, with the Kemper, the AX-FX II and some other digital equipment I have owned, I spent most of the time tweaking and very little time actually playing, so I went back my tube amps. Turn 'em on, twist a few knobs, and start playing!

But I also have to wonder if the folks that like digital amps have better skills & abilities and maybe even better ears than I do when it comes to tweaking digital to get good tube sounds, so I am glad that equipment is out there.
