Also looks to be true bypass as well, I see 6 wires in the harness coming off what appears to be a dpdt on/off switch! I think the non true bypass switch is 4 wires.

FWIW, Guitar Center has the Slash classic wah on its website. $129.99. At least a better deal than the Slash wah with the distortion boost. (The other issue with that pedal was that it was an 18V pedal.) I myself have a 535Q. I find it is the wah to get since you can fine tune it until you get the sound you want.

I really liked my slash wah, I never used teh boost/distortion though b/c it sounded llike crap. The wah was voiced great, it took a littl egetting used too but i got some great tones outta mine. I ended up going through two or three of em though...... I would pick up the new slash wah, great price and its great they dropped teh extra "bells and whistles". But I am very happy with my bbe benwah at the moment. May have to try out this new slash model someday though

The octave fuzz is pretty good actually, apparently it was used in the new album. Similarly with the new classic wah.

That octave-fuzz is awesome, I use it a lot with my band (the fuzz that is).

I have a question for other Slash fans here. I was just listening to Made in Stoke, particularly the tune "Nothing to Say". I was surprised to hear two distinct rhythm guitar tracks--one in my right ear and one in my left--as well as a solo track that was dead center. The CD credits list only one rhythm guitar player. I am convinced that he must have overdubbed a second rhythm track in the studio. Would you tend to agree? Or do you think there might be an uncredited rhythm guitar player?

I thought that might be the case. Is it on the DVD? I should have just thrown it in the player. Needless to say that's some tough speed riffing. Good on MK.

For those that love Slash's Guns N' Roses (great, distinct) wah live tone (Use Your Illusions, Civil War), be aware that it was a rack wah made by the company EMB Audio. Kirk Hammet, Steve Vai and many others used the same wah.
The EMB company was closed but is being ressurected now.

I am used to seeing resisters that are round with coloured stripes on to denote the value. What are the flat digital looking ones with a number printed on top. Are they the same thing but in a new package, or are they digital chips?
