What sort of delay times does slash use? i'm getting into playing some slash/GnR stuff and really enjoying it like the intro to welcome to the jungle' how would you set the delay for that? does he have a standard setting you slash guys know about and reverbs for that matter in fact any tone/effect reference will help me out :yea

Try this setting. This is the pedalboard he used during his Solo Tour in 2010.

There is a lot of interesting info at www.slashparadise.com . :Thumbs
Also you can just type something like "slash pedalboard", "slash live gear" in Google.

Here is another good link - www.slashsworld.com

Slash’s Effect Pedals
BY PATRICK & MARIO
Mario is a big fan of Slash and he was lucky enough to be able to contact Adam Day, Slash’s guitar tech. Here’s what Adam wrote him:

“Always happy to help a fan. Hey Mario, Sorry, I’ve got no photos of the gear at this time. However, I can give you a rough idea of how we use them. The E.Q. is basically just set as an upside down smile, meaning the mid-range is boosted, fading off at the high end. The input gain is right around 6db with the output about 0, and is used just for leads. The delay is actually a dd-3 and is basically used as a slap delay for solos. Also, a longer delay setting is used for selected parts, such as Slither.
Hope this helps.
All the best, Adam.”

Delay settings:

This is good info here, but I tend to play a bit different than Slash and replicate some of these sounds. When I play Jungle I play with a slap back setting and play more notes. I am replicating the repeats that Slash is using by just playing them and using a lighter touch for the replicated repeats. I can actually get close even with my acoustic. I do think that the delay settings become more important on songs like Slither though.

I'm looking more for the Slapback he used live for years on his leads

I bet that if you use what Encore posted that you can get close and then fine tweak to your style, but I am not familiar with the JMD or how to control the parameters of the delay on it (sorry no help here :sorry )
