I am looking into buying an AFD100 NEED HELP!!!

I have decided to purchase and AFD100, but I am having difficulty in finding one.
I live in Sarnia Ontario Canada (US Canadian Border) we only have one music store and they can't seem order one due to its supplier doesn't carry the AFD100. I was told that I am basically shit out of luck on the issuse. My only other option at this moment seems to be ebay thing. There is a seller on there who looks like a legit dealer from Colorado, however in the end with shipping & duty I am going to be spending close to $3000.00. I don't have any experience with the ebay thing so I am a little "ify" on spending $3000.00. I don't mind buying used but I don't want to get ripped off either.
Is there any other options?

I was in Music 21 in Bolton, ON a month ago and they had one. Give them a call and see if they still have it 905.857.2121

It's sold before I had a chance to look at it, I would have consitered that.....thanks anyways....I am sure the AFD100 isn't going to be extinct anytime soon, I will keep my eyes open. Thanks for everyones help!

Yeah 2200 felt reasonable to me, I would pay that price for one. However, most of them are pretty high right now as far as priced is concerned. I mean a JTM jimi Hendrix is 2700 dollars on ebay right now...

The AFD100 is that amp you either love or hate....I lurvvvvvvvvvvve mine. Nothing sounds like an AFD100, nothing! It's a ball tearing, fire breathing mofo of an amp. GL man, I hope you find one.

I will, when the time is right. I already have my VM2466 to keep me tied over, that is a great amp, I don't want to mod it. But I do the Slash thing a lot, and I have even heard the AFD100 used in different (non Slash) applications, and it sounds amazing.
