Good work Surf. It looks like an absolute belter of an amp. I have no need what so ever for one but that won't stop me gassing for it when I finally get my hands on it. Unless I win the lottery soon or a distant relative dies :bgrin then it won't be happening.

Still, can't wait to hear it. If it's as good as it looks on paper this might be the first signature head that actually sells to non fanboys. What an achievement that would be.

I take it you mean Marshall when you say this. Let's not forget the success of the Peavey 5150 head :)

My sales guy talked with Korg and I will get the first one Sweetwater gets. Obviously they don't know when this will be yet but I got in the que. Found out a little more about the amp which has my interest spiked. Keep you guys up to date when I hear anything but right now it sounds like sooner than later.

Will treat it like a collectors amp keeping the box, receipt, not opening the cord or cables, and eventually pull all the original tubes and save them. I am gambling that the amp will become collectable. I didn't originally think so but since I know more about it now I think it defenitly will. This makes it easier to spend money on it.

Not a bad price really. Well done Marshall for not pricing this in 'silly' territory. Considering a JVM410H is £945 and a VM 2466 is £778

Not that I can afford it still.....

im sure i read somewhere that it has a solo boost feature, is this the case?

Also how do the 2 channels work are you able to set one as clean and the other as overdrive or is it like the vm in that one is AFD(ldr) and the other is UYI(hdr) ?

The amp looks awesome, quite digging the high upper mid tone this amp can do. I won't be able to afford another one though.
Guitars: Gibson Les Paul Classic, Gibson Midtown Custom, Fender American Standard Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster.
Amps: Marshall Vintage Modern, Marshall JTM Offset, Vox AC15.
Past Marshalls: 1987x, JVM410H, SL5, JMP1, 1960AX, 1936.

I am hoping for 2 separate channels - footswitchable. Makes it a lot more live friendly. Anyway ... i'll still probably buy it either way.
