so I ordered 2 .....
One for the band/road usage and for playing/recording at home !
:eek Well good for you, these amps should hold there value if not go up a little based upon how fast I think they will be off the shelves. No harm no foul in investing in music gear if you will not loose money on it.

If you wanted it bad enough you would take a second job for a few weeks to pay for it. Come on man, how long would it take you to earn 2k if you REALLY wanted the amp.

$10 per hour/$2000=200 hours of work, assuming a second shift of even 8 hours per day you would have that jack in 25 days. Get a job with tips and your there sooner yet. :Thumbs

The only problem is that I'm working 3 jobs the way it is, and I'm digging my girl out of the hole :dunno maybe time for a higher paying job? lol.

By the way AWESOME Quote out of The Rock! one of my favorite movies and it just so happens that the shirt I'm wearing right now says "Escaped From Alcatraz".

Well good for you working three jobs, I guess there is nothing else you can do. I sure wouldn't attempt getting into to debt over it either. At your age I couldn't afford shit either, to many other priorities. I guess all I can say is feel lucky at least you have a job, many others don't.

Amen on the debt part haha! I was thinking of getting a credit card for it and making Obama foot the bill...or rather my fellow Americans! its seriously that tempting!. wow that came out bad didn't it? lol.

My jobs are actually pretty unique to a point...

I do webdesign for my brothers company but work has been slow as of late, if it picked up steady I could easily get an AFD100 in short order.

At night I bounce & clean at a strip club my sisters father in law owns which isn't always the funnest job.

Then on the side I work on cars and computers which takes a lot of my time up.

I guess the VM isn't a bad amp to hold me over till I can afford a Power Scaling Marshall!.
