I have not bonded with a piece of gear this much since my original Marshall 2061 20 watt head I got second hand back in the 80's. I regret selling that like no other piece of equipment. EVERY amp I've owned and or played has had the 2061 as a benchmark. All have failed, except the AFD100. It really is that good. I can't praise it enough.
With the Treble and Presence up and Bass rolled back, it could easily be an Ace Frehley signature amp. It delivers classic rock tones with no issue, but there is far more to the AFD100 than just Slash's tone.
