Found this on youtube. It really shows how much the cab can make a difference. The greenbacks offer so much more of an old school feel. Creamy bottom end. I like the greenies much more. Too bad I only got a 2x12 for my afd.
However, the mic is off axis from the v30 cab and right in front of the greenbacks.

Quality cabinets and speakers do make big differences. This is why I have kept six different 4x12 cabinets loaded with different speakers. It is hard to beat the Marshall Greenback cabs if you can only have one.
'When I Don't Have Anything Interesting to Play, I just Play Fast' But then who wants to hear 64 bars full of 32nd-notes except the douche-bag blowing them from the stage.
I like V30's with my Marshalls but this last year I've been leaning more and more towards Greenbacks.
And I'm just super happy with the AHW cab ... I wonder how many AFD users have the AHW combo .. now we are at least 2 ...
I think both cabs and the amp sounded good. But the angle towards the V30 cab affects the sound and does not quite give justice to the V30 cab.. You can hear the sound on the V30 cab slightly kind of phase around.
