Number of AFD100s destined for the US?

Postby BenjiJuanKenobi » 09 May 2011, 17:22

I was lucky enough to stag a barely used AFD100. (Seller had his truck die and taxes owed to Uncle Sam.) I paid a little more than the prevailing retail price, but less than what I have seen people asking for on Ebay. I count myself lucky. It's dead mint with all the goodies , the box and packing, and local pick-up.

I heard they are only making a total of 2300 of these amps. How many of them are destined for the US? I read 500. When I mentioned that to one of the local music store salesmen, he seemed to think it was going to be less than 500. Anybody know the definitive answer?

The US was targeted for 500 that is correct. I do not know if they are all here now or more "unsold" still to come. Your Marshall dealer should be able to get this information.

500 in the us.

shipments are coming monthly...and are being handled first in, first out.

most of the amps have been presold by the dealers whom ordered them. best bet is to try gc or mf.
