My AFD100/SIR #36 clone Quick sample

Just rebuilt and remodded my Metro 2203 for the appetite tone. I think Ive nailed the tone although the sample is kinda crappy (webcam and bad playing :laugh ) But you get the basic idea

Speakers are 1 g12h30 and 1 classic lead 80
Gibson Les Paul 59 RI
Metro 2203 (3 channel Footswitchable with 1959 mode/2203/#36 AFD) Mods performed by Myself.
Marshall 1960BV with Rola G1280's
Earthquaker Devices dispatch master
Catalinbread Super Chili picoso Boost HBE Paul gilbert Detox

Sounds pretty similar to me. Although i don´t like that tone, too little bottom end. Still if you play that riff with a delay it tend to sound alike even if it´s not really the same. What you play has a big inpact on how you hear it.

Man that thing has a lot of gain. I think it hits pretty darn close to that GNR sound. Are you done tweaking it now?

Yeah, Im done tweaking it. It is smooth and super easy to play. Basically it is exactly how I dreamed playing the real #36 would sound and feel like. And, the video does not do it justice. I was a little :high when I recorded it too so my playing is a little :laugh

It can have a ton of (useable) gain and a lot of punch. I finally have my dream amp!!
